Neurocognitive Education and Caregiver Support Groups

The William and Ellen Proxmire Memory Clinic offers caregiver education on various neurocognitive disorders and support groups that are co-facilitated by our experts in the field including, our licensed clinical social worker, and behavioral neurologist and neuropsychiatrist Dr. Nicole Absar. These groups are designed to:

1. Support – Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Opens up the meeting for discussion
2. Educate – Neuropsychiatrist – Addresses the topic chosen by the groups
3. Engage and Connect – Yoga and Mindfulness – relaxation, breathing and yoga techniques to conclude
